Tutor: Kate Stokes
 

       Hi, my name is Kate Stokes and I am a Mum to
       two beautiful children, Daniel and Abigail. Ever
       since I was little I have had art as part of my life. I
       studied art to Bursary level at high school and
       carried on studying various forms of art as part
       of my teacher training at Waikato University. As a
       classroom teacher, I enjoyed taking art classes
       with my students and bringing out their
       creativity. I also took every opportunity to take
       part in professional development in art to  
       assist my classroom teaching.

       I find that being creative with art give me great
       enjoyment and I love encouraging students to
       gain the same enjoyment in their work.
